April 14th: Professional Mixer at the Burress Tavern

We’re having the next New River Network Professional Mixer at the Burress Tavern in downtown Blacksburg, this Friday, April 14th. We're going to do it again in conjunction with the VT Faculty Net. Here are the details:

- 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Beer will be served

The Tavern is located on Draper Rd. next to Bollo’s where Mish-Mish used to be some years ago.

The format will be very similar to most of the other events we’ve had at the Burress Tavern.

Please pass this email around to anyone that might need a cold beer on hot Friday afternoon.

The mixers of last year were very successful and it's time for having another one. Please attend our next social event, another professional mixer in conjunction with the CRC's New River Network:

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The Tavern is located on Draper Rd. next to Bollo's where Mish-Mish used to be some years ago.

There will be FREE draft beer and the Burruss Tavern will also be open for food, wine, and cocktails at discount prices. Feel free to bring spouses/friends and don't hesitate to let others know.

The New River Network - Postponed

We have decided not to have a New River Network professional mixer in January. We are currently rethinking our strategy for the Network and will keep you posted as to what we’re going to do next.

The New River Network—Back in 2006

There won't be a New River Network Professional Mixer this month (December). We decided not to do it at the last minute because it seems that everyone has a lot of holiday stuff going on. So, we'll be looking to kick it back off in 2006—keep an eye out for our next email or on this website for dates, etc.

We're hoping to really improve things in 2006. If anyone is interested in helping us out or sponsoring any mixers, please let me know.
